Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing our website, joining our waitlist, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live), that you are using the Service on behalf of yourself or a business you are authorized to represent, and that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Pre-launch status of the service

Hey Teo is currently in pre-launch. The product described on this website—an AI chief of staff that connects to your tools and handles routine operations—is under active development and is not yet generally available. Descriptions of features, integrations, pricing tiers, launch timing, and promotional offers (including the three-months-free offer for waitlist members) are statements of current intent, not binding commitments. They may change before launch, and we will communicate material changes to waitlist members by email or SMS where you have opted in.

3. Waitlist terms

Joining the waitlist is free and requires no payment details. A waitlist position reserves your place in the early-access queue; it does not guarantee access by a specific date, a specific price, or availability of any particular feature. We may onboard members in batches (for example, by business type or tool stack) and may adjust queue order to run a healthy launch. You may ask us to remove you from the waitlist at any time by emailing hello@heyteo.ai.

4. SMS and text messaging

If you opt in to SMS messaging from Hey Teo (now or when the product launches), you agree to receive text messages from Hey Teo for account verification and service alerts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. See the SMS section of our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle phone numbers and consent records.

5. Referral program

Waitlist members receive a personal referral link. When someone joins through your link, the referrer earns one additional free month of the Service at launch per qualifying signup, up to three additional months, and the referred member starts with one additional free month—each on top of the standard three free months for waitlist members. Both parties may also receive waitlist priority. A qualifying signup is a real person joining the waitlist for the first time. Referral benefits have no cash value and cannot be sold or transferred. We may withhold or revoke benefits earned through spam, self-referral, automated signups, or other abuse, and we may modify or end the referral program at any time.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• submit false, misleading, or third-party information without authorization;
• interfere with or disrupt the Service, or probe or test its security without permission;
• use automated means to create waitlist entries or manipulate referral counts;
• use the Service in violation of applicable laws or regulations; or
• scrape or harvest personal data of other users from the Service.

7. Intellectual property

The Hey Teo name, logo, website design, copy, and all related content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the website for evaluating and joining the Service. You may quote or cite our public content (for example, in reviews, search results, or AI-generated answers) with attribution to heyteo.ai.

8. Third-party services

Signing in with Google is provided through Google's authentication services and is subject to Google's terms. SMS delivery is handled by our messaging providers. References to third-party tools (such as Shopify, Stripe, QuickBooks, or HubSpot) describe planned integrations; those trademarks belong to their respective owners, and no endorsement is implied.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the future product will meet every description on this site at launch.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hey Teo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US$100), reflecting that the Service is currently free to use.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at hello@heyteo.ai so we can try to resolve the issue directly.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will notify waitlist members by email or SMS where you have opted in. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. When the full product launches, it will be governed by a product-specific agreement that we will share before billing begins.
